Frequently Asked Questions

So you wanna know more about CCF?

CCF (also known as Collegiate Christian Fellowship) is an interdenominational community of college-age people and 20-somethings from the Eugene/Springfield and surrounding areas who are seeking to live, love, and lead like Jesus. CCF is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Eugene.

CCF begins at 7:00PM and meets (almost) every Sunday night during the school year, beginning Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009. (See “Calendar” under the “Experience” section for specific times and dates ).

CCF has moved to its new location at 631 E 19th Ave - a converted grocery store across the alley from Emerald Baptist Church. We’ll be meeting between the produce aisle and the deli. Just kidding. The room is wide-open, with lots of space, including a commercial kitchen (Did someone say food, coffee, and lots of hanging out time?).
Each Sunday night includes approximately 30-40 minutes of worship led by the CCF worship band, a 25-minute message, often from our college pastor, Corey Rose, and lots of time to eat, laugh, hang out, and make new friends.
Full-time students, part-time students, full-time employed, part-time employed, non-employed, almost-employed, various combinations of the above, and hopefully you! Wherever you’re at in your faith journey, you are always welcome to journey with us as we explore what it means to be authentic followers of Jesus Christ.
Absolutely not. You’ll find lots of college-age and 20-something people from all over Lane County at CCF.
While there isn’t an age requirement, most people at CCF are typically college-age, between 18 and 20-something.
Check out the ‘’Connect” section of the CCF website for opportunities to plug in or visit the info table at CCF Sunday Night. Anyone is also welcome to attend our monthly Welcome Shindig. The Welcome Shindig is an opportunity to meet other newcomers, ask questions, and meet leaders. It’s usually held around the first Sunday of every month before CCF. Check our calendar for exact times.

It’s actually pretty easy...

  • Just show up on a Sunday night. Join us for worship, coffee, eats, loads of people, worship, and a talk about shaping our lives around God.
  • Just show up at a community group. CCF has lots of small groups in lots of locations that meet throughout the week to develop friendships and dig a little deeper spiritually.
  • Just show up at an event. And we have a lots to choose from! Service projects, retreats, athletic tournaments, talent shows, creator cafes, missions, and community outreaches, just to name a few.
As our band is comprised of a core of dedicated, regular musicians, we unfortunately can’t always add many new players to Sunday nights; however, Sunday nights is only one venue where we can use gifted musicians and vocalists. For more information, go to the “connect” section of our website and click on “Service Opportunities.” See the “Worship Team” section for more details.
There are a number of volunteer teams that make CCF happen each week. For more information on these teams, please go to the ‘connect’ section of our website and look under “service opportunities.”
Because we strive to be impartial, focused, and simple, we typically do not promote events, specific ministries, or causes outside the mission and vision of CCF. We've found that it is impossible to grant all requests of this kind and we find it difficult to promote some and not others. We ask that you honor this decision by refraining from passing out flyers in the lobby or parking lot or placing materials on the cars.

CCF welcomes your financial assistance. Any contribution you make will be used to spread the name of Jesus among college students and 20- somethings. You can donate to CCF online or by sending a check.

Currently, online donations are not available. We promise you that it is coming soon though!
